Parents:
Judging: All parents are needed to judge. Orientation will be offered at 7:50 am & 9:00 am for new parent judges, Stoa alumni, and community judges in Business Building Innovators room. Stoa alumni are invited to judge and encouraged to attend orientation. Please invite your club alumni to judge as many rounds as possible to help the schedule.
Judging your own club –
As this is a small tournament, you will be allowed to judge members of your own club provided they are not relatives, you have not coached them, and you believe you can be unbiased. You may only judge the same person once in an event. In other words, you may judge the same person twice in two different events.
Timers:
All rooms will be set up with the "Big Red Timers" The head judge in each room will be responsible to start and stop the timepiece for each speaker and announce the time to the other judges. Please allow only 2 minutes in between speakers for ballot notes.
Festival of Lights
Close out the day with a visit to the Festival of Lights at the Mission Inn just 10 minutes north of CBU. In addition to the beautiful holiday lights the Festival offers shopping, ice skating and Christmas music until 11pm on Saturday evening.
